Rio Tinto and BHP have struck a highly lucrative deal with Senator McCain of Arizona. He has offered to give them this land to do with as they wish.”

    The indigenous people of Panama confronted a similar situation a few years ago, protested strongly, and won. The mine project was cancelled. See the following link:
